On Computing Travelling Wave Solutions in a Model for the Belousov Zhabotinskii Reaction

The Belousov Zhabotinskii reaction is a visually dramatic oscillating phenomenon for which a chemical model has been developed by Field & Noyes (1974). This model results in a pair of non-linear parabolic partial differential equations for which we shall compute a difference solution. Each approximate solution consists of a steady state waveform and the speed with which this wave propagates.
